Wells family history – connection with Governor Thomas Welles family

As part of our Wells family history here is a tentative attempt to explain the connection between out English Wells family and the family of Governor Thomas Welles who became a Governor of Connecticut. There is a perfect yDNA match between our family and living descendants of Governor Welles. The left side of this tree shows his line and the right side shows ours.
